Hitting up Mt Jihod

Hey whats up, Ya, Im looking for a job during the week but this is where my time is spent on the weekends. Which actually while hitchhiking up and down the mountain Ive talked to some peeps about which companies to visit.

Here is a picture of a Kea. They are green with red under their wings. Much harder to kick then your average bird and much more annoying.....but I kinda like them for that fact. They are known for eating EVERYTHING. They will eat your snowboard bindings if you are not careful.....and rubber. They like to eat rubber? What kind of a bird does that? Its like a pirate parot. If only I could teach one to talk. But if you have food they fly up to you close and scream at you. Much more forceful then the screaming seagull birds. The seagulls have strength in numbers....this one guy would probably peck my eyeballs out for fun by himself. I think I like them because they scare me.

I threw my first method yesterday, which is easy to do but still the first. I've got some more video that I will be scraping together here in awhile...

Why I live in NZ

I have been trying to listen to God to see where he actually wants me to go in the world because I came to NZ on my own accord and realized I should have asked Jihod where to go first (Too clarify....sometimes I call God "Jihod" not actually because I am in a suicidal holy war cult thing). So we will see where he takes me. I love Nebraska but I am hoping that he doesn't want me back there.....just because I would like to get out and see the world some more. But we will see what he wants me to do.

Here's Chris and I headed up the lift

This is Chris and I praying that God would come down and rest in my hands so I could throw down some fat air with Jesus

God blessed us with his presence and descended into my hands in the physical form of a Bobble-head Jesus although you probably can't make it out because his presence was so brilliant. He later burnt a whole in my coat pocket and got lost somewhere in the terrain park. I called the lost and found but they hadn't found Jesus yet.

Problems

Hey, Ive been trying to get some video up and having problems with my video host site...Bare, bear, beer, with me. (All sound the same here) Here is a picture of the Kiwi's agreeing that their english is messed up.

I will be coming out with an English to English dictionary or thesaurus, if you will, sometime. Otherwise here are some pictures of stuff mostly in the town Square.

Hitchcock! Help!

I was in Lyttelton today checking out Lyttelton Engineering and I thought I would grab some fish and chips from the local fish market. It was a pretty nice day outside with the mountains hiding behind the clouds so I thought I would eat outside. One Sea rat flew up and started making a terrible rachet. Little did I know he was calling his 19 friends over to eat my fish and chips.

Alfred Hitchcock!

After they started sitting above me and kicking crap at me I thought I should move.....so they followed me squaking the whole time. It reminded me of New York City (NYK) and "casually" walking by pigeons to turn and try to boot them across the street.

It was Chris's birthday the other day so I got him a gift that I thought would look stunning on the mountain. He thinks so also. I bet Brent Wilson was rocking this stuff back in the day on the slopes in So Cal......a legend in his time folks, a legend in his time.

Materialistica!

Check out this picture at Lake Tekapo. Im just sunning myself on a rock. In the background is Mt Cook. It is the one in the middle in the very far back with some cloud coverage. It is the highest peak in New Zealand.

This is me telling a True Story. But check out the background....Owwww, so pretty.

After I went downtown today I stopped in at the local Suzuki dealership. THIS COUNTRY WILL LET YOU DEMO ANY BIKE THAT HAS BEEN TRADED IN!!! Which is sweet, so after going to every shop intown the list of bikes that I will ride is as follows:

Honda Fireblade 1000RR

Suzuki GSXR1000

Daytona 955i

Ducati 996

Aprilia RSV 1000

And if I tried hard enough I am sure I could get them to let me take out the

MV Augusta F4 1000

So hot....all of these bikes but especially the Italian bikes and the Augusta which I have no intentions of shellingout $25,000 bones for.

This is a road really close by that all the local bikers call Akaroa GP because everyone races on it. I can't wait to hit this one up.

And here is a picture back in the States of a CBR 1100 Blackbird. Why is that nice gentlemen going to kick that cop car?

More pics N'such

Whats up, Ive just been sending out app's and crap and looking for small jobs while I look for a beefy one. I got a plan to force my way into a snowboard workshop thing. Covert Op SnoWo will be underway next monday.

It is pretty funny going to a snowboard surf retail store and giving them my CV (CV = resume). They are always so confused....

Here are some more pictures and crap.

This picture was taken in Glenrochy and a pretty sweet picture at that. Eat your heart out Miquel!

There are these boats that are pretty freaking crazy. They will do a 360 spin in them with the radius of small goat. They are next to other boats just whipping kitties. I was up the creek quite a ways and the guy tried to splash me with the ice cold water. I ran like a little girl and then giggled accordingly. (Yes Brent, my parents already know Im gay)

This is a picture of some serious lugers. It doesn't get anymore hardcore than this. I was screaming at the other two that they were,"Huge Lugers"

This picture Davis took and is freaking sweet. It is a dock light with the mountains in the background. The mountains are still a little bit lit up because they were facing where the sun was going down.

Queenstown....W've mang

Queenstown was freaking sick man, So stinking beautiful around there it is incredble. This is the view from the gondola ride with "The Remarkables" mountains in the back and Queenstown below me. The view out of our hostel window was just as amazing. We had some cool peeps in our hostel and some that didn't like Chris and I's synchronized snoring. We met a couple of Chris's mates from up north down there and hung out with them. We went snowboarding at The Remarkables, and it was well.....re-freaking-fantastic. We were so excited to be hitting some sick kickers, boxes and pipes that we totally forgot to take some video and pics. Except for when Chris picked up a pipe and used it to row down the mountain, almost hitting this person in the face a couple times. We kept on hitting this kicker where I was learning to get about 6 or 7 feet of air under control. Awesome time.

We also found this luge ride at the top of the gondola. They let you get in these little go kart things where you can pull back to make yourself go faster. And as an american Im thinking to myself there is no way this thing can be cool because of all the saftey issues Im sure they will have to make it suck. Well, I found out that Im not in america anymore because I tried to spin this baby out to see how much she could handle on the first corner, well it tossed me out of the car and into the guard rail. It ripped my shoe off in the process some how or maybe I kicked it off in a fit of joy....one never knows. But I learned that amusment ride places have no insurance policies because people can't really sue other people for accidents like that here. They have insurance that covers everyone as soon as you set foot on kiwi soil.....pretty cool (well for most things). On with the story, I got back into my little gravity fed rocket and hunted Chris down like the dog that he is. My goal was simple.....complete distruction! I speed up on Chris and slammed into him as we battled it out trying hard to push him out of my way. He was in front of me on the "S" curve and I decided to take a short cut. As he was slowing down to take the corner I was maintaining ramming speed and decided to jump through the middle of the "S" curve in a death defying leap trying to possibly kill Chris. I was a second too late as he flew out of my crosshairs by mere inches and I plummeted my car into the guard rail sideways. And again I had to get out of my car and set it straight. The end came up quick on the four of us racing and then Davis ran into the parked car ahead of him, then we all proceded to pile them up into eachother one after one. Of course this happens to be right next to the line to get into these luges and everyone is staring at us in disbelief. I couldn't stop laughing. Blood was spilt that day, however truer words have never been spoken when Chris cried,"Give me Luge or give me DEATH"!

We also went on a drive to Glenrochy to get some more pictures. I've never seen a more beautiful place. The drive there was amazing with crazy roads winding around the beautiful mountain scenery. There are so many other beautiful photos of us at dusk, on docks, in barns, churches and other crap that is amazing, just too much to show here. I will have to go back to Queenstown sometime because I did not get to bungy jump. There were plenty of places to do it but only one place was worthy of my naked screaming and it is too much money for me to do it right now. This last photo is where we decided to dance on the guardrail to techno music in awe of God's beauty.

Independence Day.........

Not happy, Sad 4th of July Day to you! There is no fire works, there is no flags, there is no banners, there are no unsafe practices of homemade dynamite and human waste, no, there is nothing. In fact there is only 2 weeks a year where you can buy fireworks here and it is to celebrate.....you guessed it.......fireworks! New Zealand doesn't have independence....they are still sucking on the queens teat for sustenance, and that my friends is why WE HAVE FIREWORKS IN THE STATES!!! *patriotic roar*

Here is a 4th of July tribute to one of our latest and greatest presidents Ahhhhh Washington.

We went down to the wharf because the NZ Navy brought this huge boat in and a couple tanks and helicopters. I got yelled at by some seamen and then we watched the heli take off.

Guns and Roses is playing here in CHCH soon and I hear Axle is freaking crazy. Luke showed me this video of Axle jumping into the audience to grab a knife from some guy or something. But that was probably 65 years ago. Tickets are $100 which is freaking nuts.

I am headed to Queenstown tomorrow and will be there for the weekend. Have a Happy Independence Day and shoot off some meringue pie artillery shells for me!
